Gmeinder customers benefit from the long tradition of the company: its experience in the field of wheelset drives goes right back to the year 1913 when Gmeinder was founded in Mosbach in Baden-Württemberg. Today still, the company headquarters are to be found in the town.

In our nearly 100 years of company history we have evolved to become innovative specialists for drive systems and wheelset drives for rail vehicles. As a result, our spectrum of services today ranges from the development and construction of wheelset drives and their components, to their fabrication and sales, to servicing and maintenance, in addition to further services.
